Joey Leung Si Gi is an artist working across painting, sculpture, and installation. Design sensibilities subtly inform her approach to surface and spatial relationships. Driven by an interest in deliberate deceleration, her practice explores transient details through observing everyday spaces. She reveals and responds curiously to these brief experiences, in search of spaces where simplicity and stillness can quietly emerge.
Her works have been exhibited at Haridas Contemporary, Hopsfield Art, Institute of Contemporary Arts Singapore, Earl Lu Gallery and selected for Art in Transit and took part in an open studio at Tokyo University of the Arts.
